Normally, I wouldn't recommend a mix for something that is pretty simple to make like Pancakes. So what makes this mix different? A LOT. These guys are growing the corn, which is an heirloom variety called Bloody Butcher (no kidding--and it's a beautiful blue-red color, which you can see flecks of in the pancakes!), on their organic farm in Alto, Michigan, using only traditional farming methods. They are then milling the corn themselves and making it into this amazing mix. The pancakes are thin and beautiful and just full of flavor. Once you try Snow Pea Farms, you will never make your own corn pancakes again. They are that good.
